COVID-19

COVID-19 has impacted so many different aspects of our lives. Unemployment is skyrocketing, rent is due and many families in the area are concerned that they could soon be evicted. I support calls to extend the eviction moratorium and to cancel rent. I also believe the City should continue the partnership with local hotels and motels to keep the unhoused safe. When a vaccine is developed, it should be free and distributed to the parts of the city that have had the worst outbreaks (Wards 7 and 8) first.
